Frequently Asked Questions

What hours do you operate?  

All pre-school classes meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. Morning classes are from 9:00 to 11:30 and Afternoon classes are 12:30-3:00. Full day classes are also available from 9:00 to 3:00.

Enrichment Monday classes are available on Mondays, 9:00-11:30. Toddler Twos classes meet Mondays, 10:30-11:30.

How do I know when school is closed due to poor weather?

Please consult NewsChannel5, our Facebook page, or look for a text from your child's teacher.  If Cuyahoga Falls schools are closed due to poor weather, we will be closed.  If they are delayed, we will open at the regular times. 

Am I required to work in the classroom?

Parent involvement is voluntary  We encourage parents, or anyone special to your child, to spend time in their child's classroom to gain insights into their daily school activities.

What are tuition costs?

Tuition is paid monthly, September through May. Half Day classes are $195.00 per month. Full Day classes are $395.00 per month. A $75.00 nonrefundable registration fee is due at the time of enrollment. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

10% discount for families having two or more preschool children attending at same time.

All supplies and an afternoon snack (Full day students only) are included.

Who do I make check payable to?

Checks should be made payable to Northminster Cooperative Pre-School.

Will tuition be refunded for absences?

Tuition will not be refunded due to an absence. Since we accept a limited enrollment, we cannot operate on a fluctuating budget.

Do you provide transportation?

Transportation is provided by parent or other caregivers.

What is the child to teacher ratio?  

The ratio for 3 year olds is 1 teacher to 12 children.

The ratio for 4 and 5 year olds is 1 teacher to 14 children.
