Frequently Asked Questions

What hours do you operate?  

Classes meet Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in morning sessions from 9:00-11:30 or afternoon sessions from 12:30-3:00.  Enrichment Monday classes meet on Monday morning from 9:00-11:30. Toddler Two classes meet on Mondays from 10:00-11:30. Enrichment and Toddler Two classes have been temporarily suspended due to COVID concerns. Please call the school for most current enrollment information.

How do I know when school is closed due to poor weather?

Please consult NewsChannel5, our Facebook page, or look for a text from your child's teacher.  If Cuyahoga Falls schools are closed due to poor weather, we will be closed.  If they are delayed, we will open at the regular times. 

Am I required to work in the classroom? Due to Covid-19 concerns, Parent Helper days have been suspended at this time. 

Parent involvement is voluntary  We invite parents to spend time in their child's classroom to gain insights into their daily school activities. If you wish to visit, please schedule in advance.

What are tuition costs?  The increase in tuition is due to necessary changes required by state Covid-19 guidelines.

Tuition is $175.00 per month, paid monthly September through May. A $50.00 nonrefundable registration fee is due at the time of enrollment. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.  Due to the uncertain times, an increase in tuition may be necessary at some point during the school year.

Who do I make check payable to?

Checks should be made payable to Northminster Cooperative Pre-School.

Will tuition be refunded for absences?

Tuition will not be refunded due to an absence. Since we accept a limited enrollment, we cannot operate on a fluctuating budget.

Do you provide transportation?

No, transportation is provided by parent or other caregivers.

What is the child to teacher ratio?  

The ratio for 3 year olds is 1 teacher to 12 children.

The ratio for 4 and 5 year olds is 1 teacher to 14 children.
